UPS power works great just connect it to UPS next to a window let it pickup the loaction, the unplug UPS and move it, got mine running in a closet with no GPS as well.

Thanks for the tip. Microcell wouldn’t work in my building until I bought the antenna. Now it works like a charm.

Jim, I did not try to provide constant UPS power to the Microcell and move it from the window to the server room as I have read suggested, I just did the GPS antenna thing and it works. The MicroCell will come on and activate when out of GPS sight, so the antenna solved this for me.

Hi. I have been following your effort with the GPS and using the remote GPS connector. Question is does the MicroCell in your new location work after it has the GPS recognized in the window or do you need to continue to use the Garmin extension to the MicroCell.

@Dan It certainly could, it would just take more work. I animated my morph over the course of five frames, if a more significant difference between frames needed to be morphed it may need to take longer. I was lucky in that the jump cut I was covering here was relatively minor and the distance that warped pixels had to move was pretty small.

I had to watch the original clip 3 times before i could even see the jump cut. i wonder if this technique could work on a jumpier jump cut?

We just got back from our RV trip too. Im glad you liked the KOA, we had a good time there last year. Cannon Beach RV was a bit to close together for us. If you ever do this again we loved the Grayland state park on the Washington coast. The RV spots are really spaced apart and I like those kind of RV places. It sounds like you guys are having a great family trip. Are you at the point yet that you feel it is time to come home? If you are extending your stay maybe not? If you do end up really liking this kind of thing we will need to talk you into getting an RV someday and show you all the really cool places we found….If on your way home you need a place for a quick overnight the Vantage, WA Wanapum state park is a great place for some rest before the final push home…….they have some really spacious RV sites right over the river. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Hey Mike. We did like the Cannon Beach park! It is close-ish to town, has lots of trees and doesn’t feel socked-in with RVs (quite a contrast with where we’re at now in Pacifica).

Your comment about technology will spur me to post about some of the technology that is making this possible, especially the “live” shot you see in the sidebar. Watch for it.

We are tracking your trip everyday; thanks so much for creating this travel blog so that we may do so! SM-we love you, girl and I wish that River was there to protect you from all the crazy animals greedily trying to get food from you. He and O went to a petting zoo in Wisconsin and River was pushing Orion out of the way to ensure his close hand to animal-mouth proximity. Silly guy.
